New Dates Announced: 2026 Bookbinding Workshop Series
If you’ve ever wanted to learn the art of bookbinding — by hand, in person — this is your invitation.
Our 2026 Beginner’s Workshop dates are now live, and spots are limited.
Held upstairs in our bindery, right in the heart of Bendigo’s Arts Precinct, this one-day workshop teaches you the foundations of traditional hand-sewn, hard-cover bookbinding. Under Simon’s guidance, you’ll use a range of tools and materials to create something entirely your own — no prior experience required.
2026 Workshop Dates:
-
Saturday 28th February
-
Saturday 18th April
-
Saturday 20th June
-
Saturday 22nd August
-
Saturday 17th October
Each workshop runs from 9.30am to around 3.30pm, and we keep group sizes small — just five people — so there’s plenty of time and space to slow down and learn.
Cost: $395 — includes all materials, tea, and coffee

If you’ve had this on your list for a while, now’s a good time to book — these usually fill quickly once dates are announced.
Can’t make it to Bendigo?
Or maybe a full day’s just not doable right now. Our online beginner course - The Beginner's Bookbinding Blueprint, opens for enrolment later this month — it’s perfect if you’d prefer to learn at your own pace, from home.
